Despite all of the members of Stardoll being dolls, there are many ways to personalise and realistically style your doll. The tributes released this season have some pieces that are perfect for the traditional porcelain doll style!

The Dolce & Gabbana tribute certainly dolls it up, in fact, it involves three major keys to dressing doll: fancy fabrics (velvet), pattern (sophisticated florals), an antique or lolita feel (this one is inspired by furniture) and, of course, frills.

 As a doll maker, the key is to define the facial features and bring color through simple makeup with colors from the outfit or eyes. Freckles may not be the obvious choice, but the simple use of them can make a doll come alive - and not like a scary movie!

Zendaya Coleman & Lily Collins. Zendaya's outfit from at The Weinstein Company's "The Hateful Eight" showed the frills of real life and both nothing outshines their bold brows.

Melanie Martinez. She takes doll into the 21st century with some of the cutest pairings of accessories, hair design, clothing, and makeup. She, among many others, have taken lolita with a twist of modern gothic style.
