I recently finished designing a room in my suite, which I am very happy with. During the construction of creating this room, I learnt a couple of valuable tips and tricks for starting on a plain canvas, which I will be sharing with you today.

1) Storage. If you have been on Stardoll for a longer period of time, then perhaps consider checking through your storage. You never know what treasures you may find.

2) Checked through your storage? If so, then your next stop is the Starplaza. If you are a non-superstar member like me, then I would definitely recommend going through the SC filter, as I found many items there. Also consider going through the Starbazzar too.

3) Interiors. Whilst your window shopping in the Starplaza, then look out for interiors. These are extremely helpful for creating an atmosphere and there are also some great ones for SC (such as the one I have used above).

4) Your ready to start. Now that you have everything you need, you can begin! Start off with a smaller room, rather than your main room, if you have limited items and get creative! Don't forget, you can always lock the room until you are 100% happy with it.
