I often find it hard to style clear or sheer clothing items without feeling a bit exposed. Here are my favourite ways to style this type of fabric!

One Piece Bodysuit
This option is especially great to use for a sheer dress, as it works to cover up the body in a put together way. I especially love using a strapless one piece as it enhances the natural body lines while not cutting across any lines of the dress itself. Try matching the colour of the sheer item to the body suit colour, or pair a bright bodysuit with a sheer white or clear clothing item!

Skin Matched Underwear/Bodysuit
Wearing something underneath your sheer item that matches your own skin colour will allow your sheer clothing to show off its look in the way that the designer intended. While you may feel a bit self concious with this technique, it does focus attention on the sheer item in all its glory!

Sheer Outerwear
If you prefer a more modest look, why not try some sheer or clear plastic outerwear? This type of clothing will let you show off your outfit while adding a new dimension with a pretty coat. Clear plastic raincoats are a perfect way to utilise this tip while protecting your outfit from the weather!
