Hello, dolls!

With the craziness of MSW fast approaching (time to close many guestbooks, I assume), I decided today to bring you a creative eyeshadow you can use to showcase your makeup skills during the competition. Whether you compete or not, MSW is an awesome way to highlight your creativity - and there's no better time to try out a look as extra as sunset eye shadow.

Start with a vibrant pink all over, particularly focusing on the lid to create a slight gradient. The next step is open - use an orange or red to colour the lid again. I chose a sparkly orange which faded nicely into the pink, but a matte shade will work just as well. Use a dot of yellow shadow in the centre of your lid to symbolise the sun. Now you have the main shadow of the eye complete!

Optionally, you can also use eyeliner on your waterline to create a powerful contrast. I used white to really open my eyes up against all that colour - but if you wanted to get out there, a sky blue looks amazing also! For lashes, I wouldn't recommend a volumising mascara as it might hide all the beautiful colours we have happening. Use lengthening mascara or spidery falsies!
