Water for Elephants
Robert Pattinson fans pay attention, Water for Elephants is due for release on the 4th May 2011, and boy are you in for a treat because R-Pattz is simply irresistible. Unfortunately however not the same can be said about the film as a whole.Pattinson's portrayal of veterinary student Jacob is full of emotion and wanting, however the unfortunate pairing with Reese Witherspoon (Marlena) means one is left with a love story void of chemistry and passion.
It's hard to understand why they fall for each other, as there is simply no development in the love department, one leaves asking the inevitable "Where is the love"? The answer to this question is found between the two stars of this movie, Jacob and his beloved Rosie. The level of affection and connectivity between the two is enviable and real.Although this film strays far from a timeless romance, there may still be some magic in the circus after all....it comes in the form of a rather large and lovable elephant..
