DIY Facemasks
StarDesign Hair facemasks are a great alternative to contouring if you want a unique style or a fun DIY project. While you can always buy a pre made facemask, making your own is fun too!
Why?
Why would you want to make your own StarDesign face contouring when you can just buy one from another designer or Transform? Here are a few reasons why:
- It may end up being cheaper
- It will fit your doll's face better
- It allows you to be creative
- It's fun to do!
- You may find a new skill (and maybe even make some SD?)How?
Making a DIY facemask is surprisingly easy! Here are my top tips:
- Use a contouring chart for makeup to place your hair pieces
- Use a light shade for highlights and a dark shade for lowlights
- Use the opacity option to blend shades
- Try out different features and options. Gradients, perhaps?
- Work within your budget. Don't go too piece-crazy!What are your facemask creation tips?
