Opening a Club
Hi all, Alice here!
Clubs are a great way to meet new people and win items from contests the club might run.
My favourite clubs vary over many themes; roleplaying, animals, writing etc.
When I first joined stardoll in 2008, I joined many clubs and enjoyed them. Then, when I gained enough Starpoints, I opened my first club and running a club became one of the most rewarding experiences on Stardoll for me.
I most certainly recommend opening a club of your own, but there are some things you need to decide on...
Will it be a public or private club?
When opening your club you have an option of making your club public or private. A public club means anyone can join whereas a private club means you get requests from dolls to join. It would be good if you need to run an age check on your members whereas a public club is beneficial for owners who want a range of members.
What will its theme be?
There are many themes you can choose from which will allow dolls to know what your club focuses on, be it animals, celebrities or "I think..."!
Will you have managers?
Obviously you can change and add managers as you go along but having a plan of whether you will have managers is a good idea. This way if you will have some, you can create a discussion advertising for some which can encourage members to be active.
Are you ready to open your club?
Stay safe!
