Transparency
The Sheer look is going beyond just tights and wedding dresses this summer- transparent fabrics are something that are becoming more and more versatile and with this it is likely that we will be seeing much more of them throughout the warmer weather.
Here are a few of my favorite ways to wear sheer fabrics:1. All muted
Sheer fabrics look gorgeous in subtle shades of nude, beige, grey and white all on their own. They create a lady-like, feminine look without being too outstanding.2. Work attire
Sheer fabrics are not something usually associated with work attire, but they can totally work. Pairing a sheer chiffon top with a pencil skirt can create a beautifully smart work look.3. Paired with other textures
I have absolutely no doubt that sheer always looks best when paired with fabrics that have a little more texture to them. Weather this be tweed, knitwear, denim, leather or any other fabric you could absolutely make your sheer item into a gorgeous statement.
I like to pair my sheer top with distressed denim jeans for an easy, well put-together daytime look.4. Super Bright
Bright and sheer are the way to go for an exotic, beachy look. Think bright reds and zesty oranges!5. Dark with a little sparkle
My favorite formal way to dress up sheer fabrics is to wear them dark with a little sparkle. It is subtle and beautifully effective!
