A strong password is your first defense against hackers. Hackers have lists of the most common words that people will use as passwords, and guessing passwords is the easiest way to hack. To be safe, make your password impossible to guess.

Here are some tips:

Do not make it a sequence of numbers or letters on the keyboard. "12345" or "qwerty" are not good choices. Neither is repeating the same character. Do not use your birthdate or the name of a pet. 

Use a combination of numbers as well as upper and lower case letters and use at least one "special character" such as # $ & and *. Make your password at least 8 characters long.

For example: iNt3re$t is a strong password. I started with a word and this helps me remember it. I substitued a special character and a numbers for two of the letters and capitalized the "N". Do not use this one, but use your imagination to create your own which will be easy for you to remember and impossible to guess.

It is okay to write it down as long as you put it in a safe place and keep it secret. This can be especially helpful if you are unable to log in for a while, to refresh your memory. If you are a minor, have a parent keep a copy of your password for you.

NEVER EVER give your password to ANYONE for any reason.

NEVER give out reference numbers associated with your account. 
NEVER change your email to an email address that is not your own.
ALWAYS have a working verified email address associated with your account. 

ONLY log in to the real Stardoll site. It must say "stardoll.com" in the address bar.
