Long-Distance Friendships
When I was younger, my best friend moved all the way across to England, the other side of the world from where I live, in New Zealand.
Although I was sad to see her go, we managed to keep in touch, and are still good friends today! Here are some ways to keep up a long-distance friendship.
Keep in contact!
I always love getting a letter in my mailbox! Writing letters is really fun because you can decorate them however you want. If your long-distance friend is a Stardoll friend, you can keep in touch through messages or their Guestbook - remember, it is against the One Stop Rules to exchange personal information like your address or email.Make sure you have things in common!
Find some hobbies the two of you can share so you always have something to talk about! Maybe you both like art or a specific sport. If you don't have similar hobbies, you could agree on a TV show to watch, and only watch an episode when the other person does too - no spoilers!Make new friends where you live!
Making other friends who you can hang out with in real life is important because it gives you something to do and more people to care about! If you never get out of the house, you'll never have anything to talk to your long-distance friend about, so it's important to continue with other activities. How do you keep your long-distance friends?
