While I am not personally a huge sports fan, I know that many people adore both watching and playing sports! Here are some awesome benefits that come with being interested in sports.
Following Sports
What's your fave sport to watch? I like watching cricket and solo sports like ice skating and gymnastics. Watching sports is a great social activity if you have a couple of friends who like the same sport - you could even make some healthy snacks and make a day of watching the game! You could also follow a favourite team, supporting them through wins and losses.Playing Sports
There are just so many different kinds of sport, that there is bound to be one that will suit you! You don't have to play to compete, you can play sports for fun. Try kicking around a football with friends, or give a sport like table tennis a go! My favourite sport is swimming - I can do a few laps to try and beat my previous time, race a friend, or even just chill out in the pool.Exercise
Getting exercise is one of the best reasons to start playing a sport! All sports are active in one way or another, so it really is a fun way to get moving. If you want a more calming form of exercise, try yoga or dance - they aren't technically sports, but they are still great for your body!What's your fave sport?
