Mother's Day Card In 5 Easy Steps
Hello Dolls!
As I'm sure many of you have heard, Mother's Day is being celebrated in many countries over various days this month! And, a very special tradition of mine for most gift-giving holidays/birthdays is always making a homemade card! That's why I've decided to share a 5 step tutorial on making a homemade Mother's Day card!
Here's what you'll need:
- Paper (I prefer cardstock paper but regular paper also works)
- Markers, colored pencils or pens
- Glitter Glue (It is not required but it makes the card a bit prettier if you're going for a sparkly look. If you are allergic to glitter, another alternative is very thin white sand)
1. First, fold the piece of paper evenly.
2. Next, write "Happy Mother's Day" in marker or pen on the front of the card. You can even draw a few flowers, butterflies, etc. around the words.
3. Then, trace over "Happy Mother's Day" and any other designs around the words on the front of the card with glitter glue. I used pink glitter glue for the words & a mix of pink, yellow, orange, and purple for other designs.
4. Once the front of the card has dried, try writing a sweet & personalized message inside the card. Make sure to sign the card with your name!
5. Finally, draw any extra little details inside the card that you wish to add! Even try adding a few stickers if wished!
What type of things do you like to make for Mother's Day gifts?
Until next time,
