Creating an Expensive Looking Outfit
Hi, dolls!
I was looking through my blog comments, and I saw a request for a post about fashion. I thought it would be fun, so today I'm going to share with you my tips, secrets and tricks for putting together an outfit that looks expensive without spending much money. Let's get started! This outfit looks pretty flashy and expensive, right? Well, what if I told you that I made it using mostly Starcoins? Anyway, when you put together an outfit you have to pick a statement piece. For this outfit, I chose the Mermaid Short Dress (380 starcoins) from Wild Candy Couture.
Once you've decided on a statement piece, you must choose accessories that compliment the statement piece, but not overshadow it. I went with black and silver because in contrast to the bright blue they look a little bit more muted, therefore calling more attention to the dress.
Tip: If you feel like the space between the dress and the shoes is too much, then add some sheer tights. They help to add more class to an outift as well as fill uo that space. My blazer was free from Stardoll Academy, my pantyhose are from Voile (30 starcoins), and my shoes are from Velvet Orchid (53 starcoins).
I hope this post helped you, if it did, then tell me in the comments below! Thanks so much for reading! Byeeee!
