Stereotyping
Hi everyone! Beatrix here.
To stereotype something is to label it. I've experienced this in the real world and on Stardoll! It's something that is often harmful and we need to stop it as much as we can.
"She became a bit rude after becoming superstar..."
That comment is one that I see daily. Little do these people know that bought SS for myself, and I bought it because I wanted it! I don't really see a "change" in myself, and I especially don't think I'm very rude?
That stereotype isn't very harmful at all, but it sure is annoying.
In the real world, I don't get stereotyped much other than my makeup and my piercings. People think I'm promiscuous because of what I look like, but it doesn't bother me because I can easily take these things away.
However some people get very harmfully stereotyped because of their race, gender identity, etc. These are things they can't change about themselves.
Please take a stand and destroy a stereotype today, whatever it may be!!
