Lyrical Makeup: Lana Del Rey
Hello all! Beatrix here.
Today, while I was listening to music, I thought some of the lyrics could definitely inspire some amazing art! So I thought, makeup is an artform - why don't I do lyrically inspired makeup?
This look is inspired by Lana Del Rey's Without You:
"Hello, hello
c-can you hear me?
I can be your china doll
if you like to see me fall."In this song, Lana compares herself to a china doll, so I decided to replicate that.
First, I chose a face that looked as close to "perfect" as I could get. Make sure your eyebrows are raised slightly higher than normal to achieve a "doll" look.
Next, I applied black and gray to the corners of my eyes, followed by applying length and volume mascara.
I unevenly filled the eyebrows to give a painted effect. For contouring - I applied a light bronzer very subtly.
Finally, I finished off the look with bright red lipstick, which I turned rosy pink with a lipgloss.
For a more modern doll look, add a light sprinkle of freckles and choose a more relaxed hairstyle.Allright dolls, I hope you enjoyed! Leave me tips below and what song should I do next?
