We’ve gotten glimpses of this hottie before, but praise the heavens he’s landed one of the lead roles in the new MTV series Awkward. so we can stare at that body—er, face—on our TV screens for that lustful 30-minute time slot every week. While your older sister may have swooned over him while he played Danny Bolan on ABC’s hit series Desperate Housewives or you spotted the shirtless hunk in I am Number Four, the heart throb finally plays a heart throb in Awkard., a high school comedy, as Matty McKibben. While much of the school falls all over him, it’s love interest Jenna Hamilton we are rooting for (only because we aren’t in the running). Beau Mirchoff likes long walks on the beach, dinner by candlelight…just kidding. But he does play electric guitar and loves to camp. And you know what else makes this boy even more appealing? He was born on Friday the 13th—oooh the air of mystery. Catch Awkward. on MTV, Tuesdays at 11. We’re sure you’ll be dreamin’ like a baby after the show’s over.

Like anyone else, we loathe to see summer leave, but as with every end to a season there’s always something to look forward to. For fall, that’s reuniting with school friends, Pumpkin Spice lattes at Starbucks, and pulling out some of our favorite wardrobe pieces (yes, this includes our flannel plaid shirts). Oh, and another thing: socks!
