Oscar’s Best Dressed

Před 168 měsíci

The red carpet at the Oscars might not have had the same shock value as some other red carpet events (ahem—Lady Gaga at the Grammys for instance) but as far as Hollywood’s biggest night of the year goes,  it was a feast of swoon-worthy dresses from the past year’s leading ladies. We round up our  favorites from last night:

Camila Alves accompanied boyfriend Matthew Mconaughey in your not-so-basic black dress by Kaufman Franco.

Gwyneth Paltrow was a golden girl last night in a metallic dress by Calvin Klein.

Cate Blanchett stepped out in a pale lilac dress from the lauded Givenchy couture collection. We love Cate, we love Givenchy, and we love them even more together.

Mila Kunis is drop-dead gorgeous in this classy Elie Saab couture dress with serious sex appeal.

Hailee Steinfeld strikes the perfect balance between age-appropriate and red-carpet-ready in this tea-length gown by Marchesa.

Jennifer Hudson shows off a smashing new figure in a pumpkin orange dress by Atelier Versace. Such a bold hue is a guaranteed attention-grabber.

Aishwarya Rai brings the Bollywood glamor to the Oscars in a bronze dress by Giorgio Armani Prive.

A crowd favorite, we love the trompe l’oeil effect of this dress on Mandy Moore by Monique Lhuillier.

Natalie Portman  looks every bit the glowing mom-to-be last night in a beautiful purple gown by Rodarte.

Reese Witherspoon reminds us of the original Barbie, with her bouncy ponytail, fresh faced make-up, and sleek mod gown by Giorgio Armani Prive, we love this retro look.

Sandra Bullock looks gorgeous in a classic red strapless gown by Vera Wang. While we’re all for experimenting with fashion, Sandra shows us that sometimes a look is a classic for a reason.
