Every Doll is Beautiful in Their Own Way

102个月之前

Have you ever visited a doll with a bit too much eyelashes, bad eyeshadow or blush that seems like she has a bad sunburn? Maybe she wears too much black makeup, or her clothes don't match well? Maybe she has the mouth that make you cringe, or really bad designed hair?

Have you wished to give her some 'helpful' advice? Here's mine - don't!

Maybe they are new members and not well familiar with the concept of makeup. Maybe they can't afford nice makeup and/or clothes. Maybe they are inspired by a celebrity, or a well known stardoll. Maybe they just want to experiment with their looks. Maybe what you consider 'ugly', to them is pretty.

That is why I dislike 'rate the doll' games in clubs. I never participate in them. Not because I am afraid I'd be judged for my look, but I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Calling someone ugly won't make you pretty, and even if you offer them advice, they still may feel offended. So unless they are asking directly for your opinion, do not try giving them 'friendly' advice, instead just scroll down.

I myself know I had my goth phase on Stardoll, and I'd get many mean comments, just because people did not agree with my choice of style. What I considered pretty, to them was ugly and unattractive.

My point - everyone is entitled to their own style on Stardoll, and everyone will dress their doll and face the way they like. We are not here to judge. Worry about your doll, and if anyone leaves a bad comment, just delete it.

Most users play Stardoll to escape their life for a while, and want it to be a nice, pleasant place to take a break. Don't ruin it for them.
