Meet Kathleen, a 20 year old player from the UK, and 2nd year university art student  Kathleen speaks English, French and a little Italian. Her hobbies include painting, drawing, piano, trumpet, writing, memes, and sleeping. In school, Kathleen took A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, French and Art followed by Architecture for a term at university but changed to Fine Arts. Kathleen is really enjoying studying Art and is currently taking modules in video editing and French.

"I was 12 when I joined Stardoll and originally I wanted the username KatE09 but it was taken so it suggested KatE09magic. I find it cringey now and don't even know why the "e" in "Kate" is capitalised like that! My friends from school introduced me to sd - they convinced me to join in 2011. I joined because they peer-pressured me into it (lol) but I ended up really enjoying the game!

My favorite thing to do is write blogs, chat in clubs and parties, and start contests in my club. I got my 365 days achievement and that was what kept me coming back! Now, I'm just coming back because I have royalty membership and don't want to waste any days. My least favorite thing about Stardoll is the drama, people begging for free gifts and wigs, and how expensive the game is to play. 

 If I could change anything, I'd make the sceneries less glitchy, and bring back the Starcoin to Stardollar converter! I remember Stardoll used to be popular in the UK in about 2008-2013. I know that several of my school friends and my cousin used to play. Since then, it seems like the demographic just grew up and it's definitely not cool to still be here haha. My two best friends now log in about once or twice a year. My biggest achievements are reaching the MSW semi-finals in 2018, winning NCG, scenery and party planner, reaching 1,000 members in my club and being featured in an episode of Stardoll Social Recap! I don't really run for contests anymore but I might try for MSW. My advice for Stardoll members is to not cheat in contests, don't sell items over 600 SD... just follow the rules and you'll have fun! Also don't spam the same message in the same person's guestbook several times a day or advertise items for 2 SC when everything in your bazaar is over 100 SD. It's annoying! 

Be kind, polite and honest and you'll make lots of friends!"

Let's talk culture!

"I'm really interested in European cultures and I love travelling around Europe. My favorite country is Germany because the food is great and the people I met there were lovely! Since I go to uni, I find myself meeting people from all around the world. I'd love to travel to Norway or New Zealand one day as they seem like amazing countries.
Stardoll is very international and most of my friends here aren't from the UK. I've found that there are lots of people from Greece, USA, Brazil, Turkey, etc,, and it's interesting to talk about our languages and cultural differences. I'm from the South of England, not too far from London, and I go to uni in the North of England. I find that the North of the country is very different from the South, but in a good way. I like that people up North call you "love" in the shops, and actually talk to you on buses and ask you how your day is going. You don't get that in London!
What I like about the UK: Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Sherlock, The Beatles and Queen
What I don't like about the UK: Brexit, expensive trains, university fees and roads full of potholes."

"Honestly, in real life I'm a bit of a fashion disaster because I tend to buy my clothes in charity shops. (LOL) On Stardoll my favorite brands are Pretty n' Love, Subcouture, DKNY and Nelly. I love DKNY and I wish they would bring it back in a re-edition!"
