Amber.Stardoll- The princess of pop, Britney Spears, has just landed a major payday! Britney signed on to be a new judge on the TV show, The X-Factor, alongside Simon Cowell and she will be paid $15 million for it! Wow! Jennifer Lopez recieved $12 million for her judging on "American Idol" so Britney seems to be doing really well. This is such a great move for Brit, we think a lot of fans will tune into the show just to see her. She knows music, she knows performances, she's good! Simon is also really excited about Britney joining the show, he said, ""The fact that she's one of the most talked about—not just pop stars, but people—in the world today means that you've got this star power. She's still hot, she's still having hit records, and she's still controversial. There's a reason for that." We can't wait for the newest season with Brit! (eonline)

While flipping through images of Christian Dior for this story on Raf Simons’ new gig, we inexplicably stumbled upon a photo of Pierre Balmain, above left, dressed as a pirate. It looks like the designer was having a jolly time at a ball in Portugal in February of 1959. But there’s really only room for one pirate in fashion at a time, and for the past fifteen years that’s been John Galliano, who led Dior from 1996 to 2011. Before Galliano (way before), Balmain spent years working closely with Dior before opening his own atelier in Paris in 1945, so maybe a love of pirates is rooted in the house? Or maybe Galliano saw this photo of Balmain in the archives and thought, “Yes! That is the look I’m going for!” However it happened, the two appear to be more closely linked than we would have thought and we’re afraid the traditional pirate costume may never be seen again. As romantic as Raf Simons might be, he’s hardly one for a sword.

- Gossip Girl star, Chace Crawford, is now an uncle! His younger sister, Candice Crawford and her husband, Dallas Cowboy quarterback, Tony Romo, just welcomed their son Hawkins yesterday. "He came into this world on 4/9/12 at 5:30 pm, 8 lbs. and 8 oz. All is well with mom" a rep stated yesterday. Chace has already said that he plans to be "the best uncle in the world." Congrats to the whole Romo-Crawford family! We can't wait to see little Hawkins! (people)
